| The STRIVE program completed its first year with one graduate. Katie Whelpley joined the Rotary Club at one of its regular meetings in April. She cheerfully recounted her year with her mentor, Rotary President, Sheryl Meyer. The Strive year began with three student-mentor partners, but due to unforeseen circumstances, two partnerships had to drop out. Katie successfully completed the objectives of the program and will be receiving a Rotary scholarship. Next year's STRIVE program is accepting mentor applications. Those forms may be picked up from Sheryl or through NCCS. |
